We just bought an assortment of pies for a party. They were fantastic- truly the kind your grandma used to make! Flaky crust, delicious filling and SO fresh. Life's too short to waste calories on subpar baked goods ;) I haven't tasted anything here that hasn't been A+.
What a great place for groceries. I told my wife that I felt like we were shopping at a mini Whole Foods. I was also thinking that I would love to bring my mom and dad here because they love healthy and nutritious foods. We visited Grandma's Pantry for the 1st time last week; having just moved into the area. We were on the hunt for great grocery stores and this is definitely one of them!
Rented their soft serve trailer for my son's graduation. 98 degrees out and a heat index over 105. Ice cream was great. I would definitely rent this trailer again. A couple of our guests took pictures of the trailer and will also be renting it soon.
A homey and traditional Pennsylvania Dutch market. They have everything from sweet bologna to boxed old fashion candies. I really enjoyed perusing the aisles for snacks, homemade jams, and other delectables that I can't get in California. We were on a quest to find small kernel popcorn and were told Grandma's Pantry had a great selection. Ever since the boyfriend and I started dating more than half a decade ago, I've been introduced to so many delicious Amish snacks. Apple dumplings (YUM!), apple butter on EVERYTHING, fastnacht, pork & sauerkraut, and we drank lots of birch beer. Even though I didn't grow up eating this stuff, it's kind of turned into comfort food for me. Grandma's Pantry has it all!
